Effective 8 October 2026
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is the notice for https://pgmstone.com (the “Site”). The same storefront may also be reached by older hostnames that redirect here.
1. Who we are
Perfect Granite and Marble Inc. (“Perfect Granite,” “we,” “us”) fabricates and installs quartz, granite, marble and sintered-stone countertops from our office at 793 Golf Ln, Bensenville, IL 60106, United States. Telephone: +1 (708) 692-0425. Privacy requests: [email protected].
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the Site at https://pgmstone.com/, including quote, contact, trade and newsletter forms. It does not cover information you give us only in person at the office, by phone, or on third-party sites we do not control (for example Google Business Profile reviews).
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Quote requests — name, email, phone, project ZIP, materials, square footage, timing, project notes, and optional files (plans or photos).
- Contact form — name, email, phone, message, and the desk you chose (sales, trade or press). The form may include Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam.
- Trade / stone-broker applications — professional contact details and the information you submit about your firm.
- Newsletter — email address, plus a required consent checkbox. We do not add quote or contact senders to marketing lists unless you subscribe separately.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. Our host and Cloudflare may log this to operate and protect the Site.
- Cookies and similar storage — session cookies needed for WordPress and WooCommerce (for example to keep a logged-in session). We do not run a third-party advertising pixel on the Site.
- Fonts and maps — the Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. The contact page may embed a Google Map of the Bensenville office; Google receives the technical data that any embedded map requires.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, or precise geolocation from the Site. Catalog prices are indicative; we do not process card payments on these pages.
3. How we use information
- Reply to quote, sample, contact and trade requests, usually within one business day.
- Measure, fabricate and schedule work when you become a customer.
- Send the yard newsletter if you opted in (Mailchimp; double opt-in).
- Keep the Site secure (spam traps, Cloudflare bot protection, server logs).
- Comply with law, including Illinois record-keeping and tax rules for jobs we perform.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to run the business:
- Email delivery — messages from the Site are sent with WordPress mail (typically WP Mail SMTP) to our showroom inboxes.
- Mailchimp (Intuit) — newsletter subscribers only, on Mailchimp’s terms.
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN and bot protection in front of pgmstone.com.
- Hosting — the WordPress/WooCommerce application and media files on our server.
- Google — Fonts, Maps embeds, reCAPTCHA (when enabled), and Search Console for how the Site appears in Google Search. We do not place a Google Analytics tag on the storefront today.
- Professional advisers and authorities — if required by law or to protect our rights (for example an insurance or legal claim on a job).
Fabrication partners and delivery crews receive only the project details needed to complete an order you asked us to fulfill.
5. Cookies
Essential cookies keep the Site working (security, logged-in admin, cart/session if used). Cloudflare may set cookies to distinguish people from bots. You can block cookies in your browser; some forms may then fail. Because we do not use advertising cookies, we do not present a marketing-cookie wall.
6. Retention
Quote, contact and trade emails are kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry and, if you become a customer, for the life of the job and ordinary business records (typically several years under tax and warranty practice). Newsletter addresses stay until you unsubscribe or we delete the audience record. Server logs are rotated on a shorter operational cycle. Project files you upload for a quote are used to evaluate the request and are not kept as a public media library item.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls on WordPress, and Cloudflare in front of the Site. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send payment-card numbers through the quote form.
8. Your choices and rights
- Newsletter — unsubscribe from any Mailchimp email, or email us to be removed.
- Access and correction — ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct it.
- Deletion — ask us to delete inquiry or newsletter records we no longer need to keep for law or an active job.
- California (CCPA/CPRA) — you may request to know, delete, or correct personal information. We do not sell or share (as those terms are defined for advertising) your personal information. You will not receive a lesser price or service for exercising these rights.
- Illinois — if a breach of computerized personal information occurs, we will provide notice as required by the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act.
Email [email protected] or write to us at the Bensenville address. We may need to verify it is you before we act.
9. Children
The Site is for homeowners, designers and trade buyers. It is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Visitors outside the United States
The Site is operated from Illinois, United States. If you write to us from another country, your information is processed in the United States, where privacy law may differ from your home country.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or the Site change. The effective date at the top will change. The public URL for this notice is https://pgmstone.com/privacy-policy/.
